Maisons du Monde Hotel & Suites are committed to responsible tourism that respects the environment and local development issues. That's why we are resolutely committed, with Betterfly Tourism, to a process aimed at reducing the environmental footprint of our hotels and supporting our local stakeholders.

In 2023, our establishments achieved an environmental rating of B, testifying to our dedication and day-to-day actions to move towards more sustainable tourism.

Maisons du Monde Hôtel & Suites are unique places where you can spend a few nights, or simply enjoy a snack and a drink. But they're also places where we take our mission to become more sustainable hotels to heart.

With a view to satisfying you, while guaranteeing minimal impact on the environment and favoring local players, we rigorously select our partners and products.

By working with local partners, we support the economy of our regions and cultivate lasting relationships.
From breakfast to the bathroom, every stay is marked by carefully selected local products.
In Nantes, we work closely with Boulangerie Emma, La Laiterie de Malo, La Friande... In Marseille, we work with La Boulangerie Aixoise, Les Pressoirs de Provence, La Butinerie... In La Rochelle, we work with La Vache Charentaise, Lerouge aux lèvres and Les Papas Confituriers. Our partnerships with waste collection organizations, as well as with TooGoodToGo to combat food waste.

This is our way of offering you more than just a stay, but a real immersion in the local life of our establishments.

At Maisons du Monde Hôtel & Suites, we do our utmost to preserve our planet and make everyone aware of the importance of their daily actions. Among our three destinations, Marseille, La Rochelle and Nantes, organic and eco-labelled products account for a significant proportion.

Our water and energy consumption is much lower than the average for French tourism establishments.

We firmly believe that we all have a role to play in preserving our planet.

All our teams are aware of the challenges of sustainable tourism and are trained in eco-gestures that are integrated into daily routines. Our reception teams are at your disposal to share their best addresses: local shops, independent designers, ecotourism circuits. All our suppliers and partners are rigorously selected on the basis of their sustainable commitments.

For everyone's well-being

We offer homemade dishes made with local produce and vegetarian options.
Most drinks on the menu are local and organic.
To preserve the environment, but above all to offer you good air quality, the products used to maintain our hotels are mostly eco-labelled.
Our establishments are completely non-smoking.

What can I do to limit my carbon footprint while staying at Maisons du Monde Hôtel & Suites ?

Help us by sorting your waste! Leave glass bottles to one side, and our team will sort them out when we clean your room. Remember to turn off the air-conditioning or heating if you ventilate your room or apartment.
Water is life! Remember to limit the duration of your shower and not to leave the water running while soaping, brushing your teeth...
Hot! Cold! During your visit of the city, remember to turn off the air conditioning or heating when you leave the room or open the windows.
Our neighbors have talent ! Don't hesitate to eat locally and discover seasonal produce at nearby artisans and markets. Our reception teams will be delighted to advise you on the best places to eat!
